Claims Adjuster

Rob Kitto started his claims career in 1990 with State Farm Insurance in Brookfield, Wisconsin, where he learned how to estimate building damage and apply coverage to all types of homeowners’ claims. While at State Farm, Rob also assisted the Special Investigative Unit in investigations of arson, suspicious thefts, and other fraudulent claims. In 1998, Rob became an independent adjuster. For the next 13 years, he adjusted all types of losses on behalf of numerous insurance companies losses, including hurricanes, hail storms, fires, floods, liability claims, and even an earthquake in New Zealand.

During his time as an independent adjuster, Rob noticed that all of the carriers seemed to be transitioning from “Good Neighbor” to “Antagonistic Acquaintance.” Having grown up around his dad’s State Farm agency office, this new attitude really bothered Rob. He had seen and heard his dad make the State Farm promise many times and, in his career as an adjuster, Rob always felt it was his job to make sure that he followed through on the insurance company’s promise to pay claims properly.

At the end of 2011, after much soul searching and maintaining his strong belief in doing the right thing, Rob left the carrier side of the claims equation and began his career as a public adjuster. Since making the leap, Rob has handled hundreds of claims of all sizes. From the small claims he handles pro bono to multi-million dollar losses, Rob works tirelessly to get his clients everything they are owed under their insurance policies.

When he not is pursuing his passion for insurance claims, Rob enjoys hunting and fishing. He and his wife, Julie, like to travel and spend as much time as possible with their families in the Midwest.
